About this product

The 2m x 1m chapter 8 traffic barrier is a highly visible, safe pedestrian barrier or traffic management system which is ideal for construction sites, events, road sectioning and road maintenance. It can also be used to indicate areas of hazard when repairs are being undertaken. Made from high density polyethylene, the barrier is easy to install with an interlocking feature that creates a secure join that is difficult to dismantle. The barriers have been designed for secure stacking and easy transportation.

Questions

How big is it and how do the barriers join?

Each barrier is 2m long and 1m high, made from high-density polyethylene. A peg on one end drops into the next barrier, so runs lock together and are hard to pull apart.

What are the feet like?

Each barrier stands on two black anti-trip feet: long, low ramps that sit flat on the ground, so people are less likely to trip over them.

Which colour should I choose?

All four colours are the same barrier. Many firms choose a colour to match their company or to tell different works apart.

How many do I need?

Each barrier covers 2m, so ten barriers make about 20m. To go right round a hole, add up all four sides and divide by two.

Is there a discount for buying in bulk?

Yes: 3% off 45 or more, 5% off 90 or more and 8% off 180 or more, taken off automatically in your basket.

Can they be stacked?

Yes. They're designed to stack securely for transport and storage.

Do you hire fencing or barriers?

No, we only sell. Buying means no weekly hire charges, and they can be reused job after job.
